About Me
The joy and pride of my life and greatest blessing has been being married to my wife Rebecca for 37 years and raising two amazing children, my son Zackery and my daughter Jessica. I have been the full time minister at the Hilltop Church of Christ in El Segundo, California for the past 27 years.
I have had the privilege of training and coaching dozens of churches across the nation on how to be welcoming to guests. Hospitality and guest relations have been a passion of mine for many years as my church and I have lived out the mission of “accepting people where we are while helping each other accept where God wants us to be”. God has grown the Hilltop Church of Christ from 30 to 300 based on one word, “Welcome”.
My educational accomplishments include:
- Master of Divinity (Pepperdine University)
- B.A. of Religion (Pepperdine University)
- Master of Clinical Psychology (Pepperdine University) I have also completed all the courses for a Doctor of Ministry at Harding Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.
I am a certified speaker, coach, and leadership trainer with the John Maxwell Team. I have been a presenter at the Pepperdine Bible Lectures for the past 30 years and have also presented at Harding Theological Seminary. Most recently, I joined the team, “Next Generation for Christ” and have hosted and trained church leaders in evangelism strategies for reaching millennials with the good news of Jesus Christ.
